Rabbi Aliza was everything we could have dreamed for in an officiant. My (now) husband and I had spoken to a couple other rabbis prior to Rabbi Aliza, but as soon as we had a conversation with her, we knew she was the one for us. She was warm, enthusiastic, flexible, and SO excited for us. We immediately felt connected to her, and we appreciated her openness, sense of humor, and approachability throughout the process. As an interfaith couple, we were looking for ways to honor the Jewish traditions, while also reflecting our progressive views and making sure our ceremony was accessible and understood by all our guests. Rabbi Aliza was open to all our ideas, offered us many suggestions, and asked us questions like, "how much mention of 'G-d' do you want in the ceremony?", which ensured the ceremony reflected who we were. Also, she created a program for our guests that explained all the Jewish traditions so everyone felt included during the wedding. We HIGHLY recommend her!

Rabbi Aliza is wonderful. She is warm, nurturing, understanding and she is a great counselor. Interfaith marriage is not an easy endeavor and she was well aware of that and the concerns of families and bride and groom and talked with us to make sure we all felt joy. She initiated get-to-know-you gatherings with my husband and myself and with our families. She really wanted to know who we were, our backgrounds and she tried to truly understand our connection to each other.
