The Devonshire Players

What a talented group of ladies!! They created such a wonderful atmosphere for my ceremony and cocktail hour that made it truly magical. Lakshmi was wonderful with her communication with us and went above and beyond to find a couple of different arrangements for us to play for our wedding. I have already recommended them to a few friends of mine who are getting married!

As someone who was a professional opera singer for many years, I can tell you on a professional basis, the music that the Devonshire Players provides is really high quality. It's hard to describe how much their playing enhanced our ceremony and cocktail hour - it was just the perfect, elegant touch. They play with style, lovely artistry and had perfect timing in terms of musical moments in our ceremony. They were even kind enough to learn some opera music that was not part of their regular repertoire. Before the processional they played the Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana, and it set the most wonderful serene tone before the ceremony began. You could hear the room become quiet and people just took it in. Lakshmi was so lovely and professional to work with. We really enjoyed our interaction with her. If you want very classy, elegant music to enhance your day, the Devonshire Players is the perfect choice.

All I can say is, WOW! The Devonshire Players played in my wedding last month. I had the quartet for our Catholic Ceremony and a trip for our Cocktail hour at the reception hall. I am still getting compliments on how beautiful they sounded and multiple people have asked me for their information which I happily provided. Not only are they talented, but Lakshmi was so easy to work with and so accommodating even though they also had another wedding to play later that evening. Lakshmi answered all my emails so quickly and guided me through the whole "music selecting" process for a Catholic wedding. Walking into the church and hearing them playing sent chills up my spine, no joke. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Devonshire Players for making my wedding ceremony all I ever imagined!

We had the good fortune of finding and hiring The Devonshire Players to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We knew that we wanted non-traditional ceremony music. Lakshmi was incredibly helpful in providing feedback on our ideas and even learning a song that was not yet in the Devonshire Players repertoire. The music was wonderful and added to the enchantment of our ceremony. The trio continued to provide a terrific musical backdrop to the cocktail hour. My only regret is that I didn't get the opportunity to listen to the music longer than I was able to. Hiring the Devonshire Players was a fabulous decision!
