Ciao! Catering and Events/ Two Steps Downtown Grille

Thank you Ciao Catering, especially Tom Devine and Kayte Devine for all you did to ensure our wedding was perfect. You guys are great people to work with, and we enjoyed every minute of our wedding, thanks to you. Thanks for "catering" to all of our last minute changes. We know there were many! ( :

Tom, Thank you so much for creating a wedding to remember! So many people came up to us and said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. You made it seem easy. Everything ran so smoothly. The food was delicious and staff so attentive. I really can't say enough. Thank Jackie for the good care she took of Christy and JD. Christy just spoke to me on the phone and made sure to tell me how wonderful she was. Everyone on the staff was so efficient and delightful. I honestly didn't have a moment's concern about anything. There are not enough good words to describe how wonderful Ciao Catering is! Tom's team are all extremely professional - the service, the food, and the attitudes were all top notch. Al was completely attentive to us, our WP, and all of our guests - he was the consumate professional and there was no task to small or large - he truly took care of everything. The rest of the team were all polite, helpful, and friendly. The food was beyond compare - all of our guests said that it was the best food that they've ever had at a wedding - and I concur. It was all delicious and the pricing was much more competitive than other vendors we had priced out (for freshly prepared and likely far better food). Although I don't live near Danbury I hope to visit Two Steps restaurant again - just to get another taste of Tom's incredible food!

Tom, Kayte, and the entire catering crew are absolutely INCREDIBLE! From the moment we booked Ciao! Catering and Events, and for the entire year leading up to our wedding on 9/17/11, Tom and Kayte went above and beyond to accomodate us and our requests. They even went so far as to provide additional amenities, not originally included, to ensure that our wedding day was perfect. Although the venue was new to Tom and Kayte, their attention to detail and their easy accessibility made the planning phase a breeze. On the day of the wedding, we literally left everything in the hands of Tom and Kayte (set up, decorations, planning, etc.), and it was all that we envisioned. All of the guests raved about the food and presentation. In fact, we are still receiving compliments to this day (4 months later)! I am still receiving compliments on how great the food was at our wedding and how responsive and attentive the staff was from Ciao! Catering. We worked with Tom Devine up until the day of the wedding at which point his delightful, super-efficient daughter Kayte took over. We had a great menu that Tom crafted especially for us. They even went the extra mile to accommodate our glutie and vegetarian guests! (Someone may have said it was one of the best vegetarian meal they'd ever had!) Even more, throughout the process Tom was guiding me along with helping me plan seating arrangements, layout, coordinating with other vendors, looking at my price quotes and giving advice on that. All in all a wonderful catering service and you won't find a more competent, delicious, and affordable caterer in the area.

Ciao! Catering was such an amazing part of our wedding day and we highly recommend working with them! The food was more than phenomenal and the planning that went into our big day was surprising and out of this world. They have a great reputation, because they just are that great. We felt that we couldn't have beat the price for what we got, and we couldn't be happier!

Tom and his staff are exceptional. If there were ever a caterer to hire for an event it would be Ciao. They bend over backwards to exceed every expectation. The food was plentiful, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors complimented so well that everyone raved about the food. The servers were always around but never intruding on the event and there was never a moment where I needed anything. They anticipate every move and I even had a dedicated server for my husband and myself should we need anything. I am a former caterer and had very high expectations and the team blew me away.
