Our ceremy was outstanding. All of our guests said how great it was and that it was so up beat and fun!

We were very pleased with this vendor. We are Catholic, and wanted a religious ceremony, but for many reasons, we could not, so looked for alternatives and was blown away by A Beautiful Affair of The Heart. Upon first contact, they sent us an entire wedding ceremony packet that had a complete service in writing, and all we had to do was select what parts of the ceremony we wanted. Talk about saving us a boatload of time!! We were able to choose the officiant, and we went with Rev. Gerald Braam, who is a more seasoned professional, which is what we were looking for (we felt uncomfortable having a 20+ year old marry us!) We met, talked and spent a lot of time communicating via email, which was great since we were so time-strapped. He was quick to respond and helpful every step of the way. We wanted two traditions incorporated into our ceremony that he had never performed before (Lasso Ceremony and the Blessing of the Coins), which he immediately researched and learned what to do, presented to us how it would go, and we rehearsed it during the rehearsal. The ceremony went flawless, and we couldn't have been happier with his performance. After the ceremony, he provided us with the book that he used to perform the service, with our wedding ceremony written out as a keepsake for us. Well done- and we highly recommend him!

Rev Larry Hall did our ceremony and he was wonderful! We met last December to get to know more about him and so he could get to know us. He told us our ceremony was all about us and anything we wanted he would do. In the months leading up to the wedding he was always there to answer any questions we had. We put together the ceremony we wanted and he gave us his opinions and ideas to make it perfect. Our wedding day was perfect, the ceremony was beautiful. All of our guests commented on how wonderful Rev Larry Hall was and how beautiful and personalized the ceremony was. I can't wait to watch back the ceremony on video so i can hear it all again.

We had Richard Perry as our minister. Mr. Perry met with us on a Sunday morning at a half way point (a relaxing Barnes & Noble coffee shop) right on time and conveyed to us that we should make our ceremony as personalized as possible, something we could always look back on and remember. He offered ideas, took notes on our ideas and by the time the meeting was over I was so happy to have him as our minister. He was very prompt with his emails and totally professional. Mr. Perry wanted to make sure he met with everyone who wasn't at the rehersal (my friend doing the reading and my friend playing the special song I wanted played during the ceremoney on her cd player) so he knew every detail and to see if they had any questions. We did special readings to each other and he provided the pretty white binders with ribbons to match our wedding colors for our ceremony. As this was our second marriage and I was brought up Catholic being matched with Mr. Perry who was also Catholic was also special to me, as well as wearing the minister robes for the ceremony. The woman who oversees the "Alverine Chapel" in Hudson NH and is also a JP wanted to know who he was as she thought he did a great job.

Rev Louis was awesome! He made our ceremony what we wanted it to be. Not too serious, but very special. Our guests thought his energy was very positive and made them feel welcome and happy to be together.

Fantastic job! Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and it felt and seemed like we'd known Rev. Louis forever.

Rev. Larry Hall did an amazing job. He performed such a beautiful ceremony. He also was able to work well under pressure. The one microphone went out during ceremony and we were also under pressure with releasing doves in time. Our doves had to be released early because they must be released 30 min before sunset... with that in mind, the dove company signaled Larry and the dove release had to be done during our vocolist solo...instead of after the vows as originally planned. Larry was able to keep his cool and make this a seamless change. None of our guests had any idea that this release was out of context. He did a superb job and I highly recommend Larry Hall!

Our reverend was wonderful! In fact we recommended him to a friend of ours, who also chose to use him for her wedding!

Our wedding was April 12, 2008. Derrick and I were just overwhelmed with joy. The officiant who performed our ceremony was just wonderful, and our family were just raving about how wonderful everything was. If I had to do the ceremony again, I would make sure A Beautiful Affair of the Heart handled the ceremony once again.

We used Rev. Michael Gross out of Kent, WA. He was excellent! He adjusted the ceremony to our needs and desires. He made some great suggestions, one of which was a ceremony thanking the mothers, which was a surprise to them and VERY nice. I received many comments that people thought the ceremony was one of the most beautiful they had attended. Rev. Gross is very professional and I can't say enough good things about him!

Everything was perfect. We had Rev. Larry Hall perform our ceremony and he did a fabulous job. He is a sweet, kind man. Everyone was very helpful with helping me organize the perfect ceremony. Me and my now husband do not belong to any church but still wanted some type of religeous feeling added into our ceremony and they helped me convey that. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely super fast response, several people contacted us even though our request was for very short notice, and we were absolutely thrilled with the officiant. They were even able to provide someone who was bilingual (English/Spanish).

Working with our Reverend was so wonderful. He was respectful of our wishes and delivered a wonderful service.

My husband and I are not religious people, so it was difficult for us to find an officiant. We were recommended to Reverand Louis from A Beautiful Affair of the Heart by a co-worker. As soon as we checked out his website, we were intrigued. Upon meeting him, we were quite pleased and knew he was the perfect person to perform our wedding. We were given full reign over our ceremony, music choices, readings, and knew we could count on Rev. Louis to perform the ceremony to our specifications. We would highly recommend him!

Reverend Phil did a great job. All of our guests commented on how friendly he was and how perfect (and short!) the ceremony was!

A little expensive but totally worth it!

I contacted this company to look for an officiant. They are wonderful. Whatever your needs are for the ceremony, they can and will meet them. I was looking for a Catholic priest who was willing to officiate a civil ceremony (which can be almost impossible) and I found Father Jim St. George. He was wonderful. He met with my fiance and me and let us decide exactly what would be said. We wrote our entire ceremony ourselves, which will be a great memory. The only negative I had was that the price is pretty high because you have to pay the company as well as the officiant. But you can find any officiant with this company. They're great!

A Beautiful Affair of the Heart did a lovely job with my wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed Reverend Dave and recommend him highly! Some of the ratings above are less than perfect just to reflect some confusion associated with the A Beautiful Affair of the Heart framework. For example, I submitted two requests on the company's website and was quoted two different ceremony prices. Ultimately, the company agreed to go with the lower price, but then I later received an e-mail notifying me that I still had an outstanding balance on my account (the difference between the two prices I have been quoted originally). Things were worked out without too much trouble, and I did end up paying the lower price. Overall, I am happy that we went with "A Beautiful Affair of the Heart" for our wedding.

We needed an officiant last minute, as ours fell ill a month before the ceremony. So we contacted A Beautiful Affair of the Heart, and they had an officiant who was available in our area on our wedding day. He was very pleasant to work with, and allowed me great flexibility in the actual ceremony - I took some of his recommendations and basically wrote our own ceremony. He was a lovely man, but a little pricey for a 30 minute ceremony, which did not include coming to the rehearsal. That would have cost an extra $90. But, we needed an officiant, and we got one, and he was very nice to work with. No complaints.
