We originally met with Rev. Glenn, however he had a family wedding the same weekend as ours and wasnt available. However the quickly found us another officiant....REV PHIL PASSANTINO was amazing! We listened to what we wanted and delivered just that. He was extremely professional. Our guests made several comments on how nice the ceremony was and REV PHIL definitely made that happen. 973-907-0200 for REV PHIL!VERY VERY REASONABLE PRICE AS WELL!

Reverend Louis was so fantastic and performed an amazingly, beautiful wedding ceremony for my May 21, 2011 wedding. He was professional and prepared but also fun and made our guests laugh and feel at ease. Our wedding ceremony was absolutely a reflection of us and he incorporated everything that we requested. He was also completely understanding when I accidentally left the marriage license at the hotel instead of taking it with me to the wedding site! He assured me that everything would be fine and all I had to do was Fed Ex it to him the next day! Reverened Louis always replied to my emails within 24 hours and was always courtious when replying. I would recommend A Beautiful Affair of the Heart to anyone that is looking to have a beautiful wedding ceremony that is prepared with ease and personalization

Working with A Beautiful Affair of the Heart was a wonderful experience! They provided us with a full booklet of ceremony options we could choose from, and very simple, straightforward contracting requirements. We were matched with Chaplain Jo Otsby. She really delivered a beautiful ceremony and was everything we needed her to be. I am so very happy we went with A Beautiful Affair of the Heart for our ceremony. Highly Recommended!

Terrible. Good thing I didn't book any of these officiants for my wedding. I am not a client, nor will I ever be because after three emails and three phone calls to find out pricing - no one ever called me back. I started looking into other officiants and accidentally came across one that was associated with A Beautiful Affair of the Heart, not only did she refuse to do my wedding because of her association but she also doubled the price of what it should've been. Expensive and unprofessional is not my cup of tea, but if it's yours then I high recommend A Beautiful over priced unprofessional Affair of the Heart.

A Beautiful Affair of the Heart did a lovely job with my wedding. My husband and I really enjoyed Reverend Dave and recommend him highly! Some of the ratings above are less than perfect just to reflect some confusion associated with the A Beautiful Affair of the Heart framework. For example, I submitted two requests on the company's website and was quoted two different ceremony prices. Ultimately, the company agreed to go with the lower price, but then I later received an e-mail notifying me that I still had an outstanding balance on my account (the difference between the two prices I have been quoted originally). Things were worked out without too much trouble, and I did end up paying the lower price. Overall, I am happy that we went with "A Beautiful Affair of the Heart" for our wedding.

BRIDES BEWARE!I was married two weeks ago and had originally arranged to have an officiant from A Beautiful Affair of the Heart perform the ceremony. But guess what? 4 days before the wedding I get a phone call from the officiant saying he is out of town and will not be back. I understand that emergencies happen. Not everything in life can be planned for. But this cancellation left me in a bad spot just days before the wedding. And where were the folks at A Beautiful Affair of the Heart? Nowhere. I never received a phone call or email from anyone offering a replacement or even a sympathetic ear. In fact, doing business with them was bad from the start. I asked about fees and was told one number by the business and another by the officiant. When I asked for a contract, A Beautiful Affair of the Heart told me the officiant would provide one. The officiant told me A Beautiful Affair of the Heart would provide one. When I voiced my concern about the lack of contract and organization with the people at A Beautiful Affair of the Heart I was ignored.All I heard over and over again from the folks at A Beautiful Affair of the Heart was "You are going to love you wedding."And I did love my wedding. I had a great time but NOT due to any services provided by A Beautiful Affair of the Heart. Brides, with so many wedding vendors to pick from, avoid this one. If you decide to move forward anyway, have a backup... you might need it.

We loved having Bart Purdy as our officiant. He was provided us with an elegant ceremony that I received many compliments on. Right now we are waiting on all the paperwork, etc to get sorted out but I couldn't wait to review him! We really enjoyed having him perform our ceremony and were sorry that we couldn't spend more than 2 seconds with him after wards! My only minor complaint would be that he can be hard to reach by email at times-- but honestly that wasn't a big deal to us seeing that our ceremony turned out to be completely beautiful! Thanks Bart for making our day special!

We were matched with Rev Glenn and he was very nice and very pleasant and a good fit for the type of ceremony we were looking to hold. He dressed appropriately and had our ceremony verbiage copied nicely into a Bible so it did not look unprofessional in any way. The process was a bit distant, but we have no complaints. Rev Glenn was terrific through the rehearsal and the ceremony and very friendly and kind with the families and site staff. It was a little expensive, but for the convenience and ease, it was worth it to us.

The way that it is set up is a little bit impersonal, but it required very little effort. Everything about the coordination was great until the day of the wedding. Our wedding was formal even though it was at the beach and the officiant came in informal clothing. I am not sure if that may have been a communication error, but I feel that he should have made sure rather than assume. Then he had the script that we had written out of the ceremony put into plastic cover sheets but they were loose sheets of paper. It would have looked nicer to have them in a binder or something.

Our ceremy was outstanding. All of our guests said how great it was and that it was so up beat and fun!

A little expensive but totally worth it!

We were very pleased with this vendor. We are Catholic, and wanted a religious ceremony, but for many reasons, we could not, so looked for alternatives and was blown away by A Beautiful Affair of The Heart. Upon first contact, they sent us an entire wedding ceremony packet that had a complete service in writing, and all we had to do was select what parts of the ceremony we wanted. Talk about saving us a boatload of time!! We were able to choose the officiant, and we went with Rev. Gerald Braam, who is a more seasoned professional, which is what we were looking for (we felt uncomfortable having a 20+ year old marry us!) We met, talked and spent a lot of time communicating via email, which was great since we were so time-strapped. He was quick to respond and helpful every step of the way. We wanted two traditions incorporated into our ceremony that he had never performed before (Lasso Ceremony and the Blessing of the Coins), which he immediately researched and learned what to do, presented to us how it would go, and we rehearsed it during the rehearsal. The ceremony went flawless, and we couldn't have been happier with his performance. After the ceremony, he provided us with the book that he used to perform the service, with our wedding ceremony written out as a keepsake for us. Well done- and we highly recommend him!

Rev Larry Hall did our ceremony and he was wonderful! We met last December to get to know more about him and so he could get to know us. He told us our ceremony was all about us and anything we wanted he would do. In the months leading up to the wedding he was always there to answer any questions we had. We put together the ceremony we wanted and he gave us his opinions and ideas to make it perfect. Our wedding day was perfect, the ceremony was beautiful. All of our guests commented on how wonderful Rev Larry Hall was and how beautiful and personalized the ceremony was. I can't wait to watch back the ceremony on video so i can hear it all again.

We had Richard Perry as our minister. Mr. Perry met with us on a Sunday morning at a half way point (a relaxing Barnes & Noble coffee shop) right on time and conveyed to us that we should make our ceremony as personalized as possible, something we could always look back on and remember. He offered ideas, took notes on our ideas and by the time the meeting was over I was so happy to have him as our minister. He was very prompt with his emails and totally professional. Mr. Perry wanted to make sure he met with everyone who wasn't at the rehersal (my friend doing the reading and my friend playing the special song I wanted played during the ceremoney on her cd player) so he knew every detail and to see if they had any questions. We did special readings to each other and he provided the pretty white binders with ribbons to match our wedding colors for our ceremony. As this was our second marriage and I was brought up Catholic being matched with Mr. Perry who was also Catholic was also special to me, as well as wearing the minister robes for the ceremony. The woman who oversees the "Alverine Chapel" in Hudson NH and is also a JP wanted to know who he was as she thought he did a great job.

Rev Louis was awesome! He made our ceremony what we wanted it to be. Not too serious, but very special. Our guests thought his energy was very positive and made them feel welcome and happy to be together.

A beautiful affair did a great job at setting us up with Rev. Jerry Braam. Rev. Braam was very helpful in helping us pick out what we wanted in a ceremony and helped personalize it to us. He created and performed a beautiful ceremony for us, and I couldn't be happier with how our ceremony went.

Rev Don was great. They sent us a wedding ceremony guide which we were able to alter to make our own. Wedding was beautiful.

Fantastic job! Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and it felt and seemed like we'd known Rev. Louis forever.
